So... apparently the snow plow training isn't going very well. On my way to work this morning, I noticed a lamp post along 104 that seemed a bit lower than it should be. In fact, apparently it had fallen over. Only the neck and lamp were resting on top of the median wall, while the post was lying on the other side. The lamp itself was probably at about the height of the windshield on a van. Fortunately it was at a point just after that left lane opened up, going from 2 to 3 lanes, so it's unlikely anyone would be in it, especially given that it was more snow-covered from the lack of traffic.
A little farther along, on the other side of the bay bridge, I saw a snow plow sitting on the right shoulder, abandoned, with traffic cones around it.
I drew my own conclusion. I don't care if it's wrong. :)
